PSL Rating App Privacy Policy
This policy applies only to the PSL Rating iOS app. It explains what the app collects, how face photos are analyzed, and how you can delete your account.

Account information
Sign in with Apple may provide a user identifier, email address (including Hide My Email), and name if you choose to share them.
Face photos
A photo you select or take is sent to our API and to a third-party AI provider to generate the rating. We do not keep the photo file after the request finishes.
Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app under Profile. Deletion removes your account, evaluation history, and remaining credits.
Who this policy covers
PSL Ratings operates the PSL Rating iOS app (bundle ID com.pslscale.app). This page is the privacy policy for that app only. It does not cover other PSL Ratings websites or products.
Information we collect
When you use the iOS app, we may process:
- Account data from Sign in with Apple: a stable Apple user ID, email address if Apple or you provide one, and name if you share it on first sign-in.
- Face photos you take with the camera or choose from your library for an evaluation.
- Evaluation results such as the overall score, written analysis, category scores, strengths, weaknesses, and suggestions.
- Credits and purchase records needed to provide in-app credit balances and to record completed App Store purchases through RevenueCat.
- Device session data such as access and refresh tokens stored in the iOS Keychain so you stay signed in.
How we use face photos
The app's core feature is an entertainment facial-aesthetics estimate. To generate that estimate, the photo is uploaded over HTTPS to our API at iosapp.pslratings.com, then sent to an AI provider (currently OpenRouter, which may route the request to a vision model such as Google Gemini or Qwen) for analysis.
We do not store the uploaded photo file on our servers after the evaluation request completes. We store the text and numeric result associated with your account so you can see a recent score in the app.
The AI provider processes the image to return a rating. That provider acts as a processor for this feature and has its own data practices. Do not upload photos of children or of another person without their permission.
Purchases
Credits are sold as a consumable in-app purchase through Apple. Apple processes payment. We use RevenueCat to validate purchases and credit your account. We receive purchase identifiers, product ID, and enough information to add credits. We do not receive your full Apple ID password or complete payment card details.
Where information is stored
App account data, credit balances, and evaluation results are stored on Cloudflare infrastructure (Workers and D1). Sign-in tokens are stored locally in the iOS Keychain. A recent score may also be cached on device with UserDefaults.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- with Apple for Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases;
- with RevenueCat to deliver credits after a purchase;
- with Cloudflare to host the API and database;
- with the AI provider that analyzes the photo you submit for an evaluation;
- if required by law.
Retention and deletion
Account data and evaluation results are kept until you delete your account or we are required to delete them. Uploaded photos are not retained on our servers after the evaluation request finishes.
In the app, open Profile and choose Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, evaluation history, and remaining credits. You can also email contact@pslratings.com to request deletion. Consumable credits already used cannot be restored. Unused credits are removed when the account is deleted.
Children
The PSL Rating app is not directed to children and is intended for adults. Do not create an account for a child or upload a photo of a minor.
